PARENTING COACHING
Ideal for families and parents seeking a conscious parenting path based on clear values, goals and effective behaviour approaches that create a deep and strong parent-child connection, effective parental leadership and a harmonious family environment where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.
This is possible for all parents regardless of their experience growing up.
Parents seeking parenting coaching are usually experiencing a high level of frustration in every day communication with their children and management of their many tasks and activities, affecting both parents’ and children’s emotional wellbeing and the relationship between them.
Because emotional wellbeing is essential to children’s healthy development and adults’ overall performance, it directly impacts all areas of our life and that of our children, including health, work and school performance, social relationships and overall development.
Healthy and peaceful family relationships and home life are key for both adults’ and children’s wellbeing and happiness. As adults, it is our responsibility to lead our families in that direction. Being an adult and having children, however, does not necessarily mean one is prepared to parent effectively and peacefully.
While we typically receive years of education and continuous training to perform any qualified job, we embark on this most important and demanding job of parenting with literally no training.
Effectively guiding children throughout their formative years is both an individual and a social responsibility that deserves and requires basic knowledge of child development and behaviour as well as commitment to one’s ongoing personal growth.
Whereas parental love is an essential and inherent emotion of parent-child relationship, love alone, without essential knowledge and skills, may not naturally lead us to achieve our highest or even basic goals as parents.
Many of our behaviours, especially in our role as parents, are deeply rooted in our early experiences as children and the sense of connection we felt or did not feel with the relevant adults around us. The inner messages we unconsciously registered about ourselves and about the world then are still guiding our behaviours and relationships now, in particular with our children.
Challenges with our children, therefore, do not mean there is something “wrong” with us or with them. Neither does it mean we are not trying hard enough. It may just mean we do not know enough of ourselves and of them.
If you feel ready and willing to elevate your knowledge and skills as a parent, it will be my pleasure and honour to partner with you in that mission, sharing what I have learned and practiced in my own journey as a human parent.
